How it works
In Calgary and Edmonton we already hold the public assessment roll, so there is nothing to look up. In BC and Ontario we ask for your notice.
Your assessment per square foot, next to similar homes nearby — same kind of home, similar age, similar size. Public data, shown to you in full.
If your basement is unfinished or you have not renovated since 2016, that changes your number. We ask about those things and nothing else.
File, or do not file. With the fee, the expected saving, and the risk that a review raises your assessment instead — before you decide anything.
How we use automated decision-making
Some of the decisions this service makes about your property are made by an automated system without a person looking at them first. Quebec’s Law 25 requires us to tell you when that happens, and to let you ask a person to review it. We apply that right everywhere, not only in Quebec.
